This is a very honest book by a man who "Lived it!" I applaud the author for sharing his difficult journey to sobriety so sincerely and with grace. I liked the fact that he shared embarrassing moments (like the Norwegian writer, Karl Knausgaard, without the fine details) and didn't feel the need to embarrass those that may have suffered in his alcoholic wake. It is heartwarming to know that the author survived his rocky years, woke up, and has found a sober life within a loving relationship. As the author states There is always hope! This is a quick and easy book to read, unlike the live version, that the author had to move through. Take a moment and travel this journey to awakening with John T. O'Neill.
